Not sure which to pick? Most first-time importers go DDP because it's the simplest — one invoice, one ETA, one accountable party. EXW makes sense only if you already have a freight forwarder you trust. FOB is the middle ground.
U.S. Customs & Duties / 005 Lines

The part most buyers underestimate.

Duties, MPF, HMF, applicable tariffs, customs bonds, ISF filings — the details that turn a "cheap" quote into an expensive lesson. We handle every line.

For imported goods entering the U.S., expect:

  • Base duty: 0–37.5% depending on HTS code
  • Origin-specific tariffs: additional category-based tariffs may apply (7.5–25%)
  • MPF (merchandise processing fee): ~0.3464%
  • HMF (harbor maintenance fee): 0.125% on ocean freight
  • Customs bond: required for entries over $2,500

We handle all of this as part of DDP — quoted as a single line item, no surprises at the port.

Direct truck delivery to your facility. Drop-trailer, live unload, or dock appointment — your choice.

Amazon FBA

FBA-prep, labeling, and direct injection into Amazon's fulfillment centers. We handle FNSKU, shipment plans, and PO appointments.

3PL / Distribution

Delivery to ShipBob, Deliverr, Flexe, or any 3PL of your choice. We coordinate appointments and pallet specs.

Shipping questions.

How do I know if I should ship by sea or by air?
Rule of thumb: if your goods are dense (high $/kg) and time-critical, air. If they're voluminous and not urgent, sea. For Amazon FBA restocking, sea is almost always more profitable per unit.
Can I use my own freight forwarder?
Absolutely. Pick EXW or FOB and we'll hand the goods to your forwarder. We can also coordinate directly with them on documentation and timing.
What if my container is delayed at port?
We monitor every shipment and notify you proactively of delays. For DDP shipments, demurrage and storage fees are our responsibility — you pay the quoted price either way.
Do you offer cargo insurance?
Yes, optional all-risk marine insurance at ~0.15% of cargo value. Strongly recommended for high-value or fragile shipments.
How do you handle applicable tariffs?
For DDP, applicable tariffs are included in the quote. For EXW/FOB, you pay them through your customs broker. We help with HTS classification either way — getting this right can save 10–25%.
